Scottish Small Pipes
A new addition to the bagpipe family, Scottish small pipes were developed in the late 1970s by Northumbrian pipemaker Colin Ross of Monkseaton.  Like their Northumbrian counterparts, they are bellows-blown, but the chanter is open-ended and requires an open fingering system.
